I would like to do a lesson at sentence combining. I have noticed in students papers that combining sentences seems to be an issue. I liked the activities I saw in Killgallon and I think that even some of those activities would be a good way to use as an activity. I would like to introduce the lesson by having a few simple sentences on the board and then have the students try to combine them.
After we have done a few together in class. I would like students the to do a few individually and then share them in small groups.
